Allah is my Rabb

I know that there is only One True God, Allah and He alone is worthy of worship. I know He is the Greatest, the Just, the Best of Planners.

Just like the trees, the mountains, the hills, the rivers the seas, the animals, the rocks, the scene I am looking at, is perfect. So will my life because Allah created all that and Allah created me. In sha Allah.
Just like only trees, lush, green, dense forests would make the scene incomplete, a little less beautiful and the rivers, seas, rocks -the rugged areas, the moving water and the stagnant water make the scene perfect. So will my life, with the happy and sad moments, with the moments of hope and despair, with the moments of love and fear, with the temporary success and temporary failures.

Allah is my Lord, my Rabb.
No matter what happens, what comes up, He will give me the strength, the courage, the Sabr to face it, to overcome it,to be victorious, in sha Allah.

Allah is my Rabb, Allah is sufficient for me.

Attitude of a Muslim youth

Keep gaining knowledge, learn from observations and experiences and enrich yourself. So that wherever you go and whoever you meet, you leave behind your positive impression, your legacy. So that they learn from you and grow better and learn to appreciate the blessings bestowed on them by Allah, the one they were aware of and the ones they were not aware of.

Thoughts

*Stop worrying about your future. Allah will take care of everything. Trust Him.

Keep striving. Keep serving HIS Deen. Allah is Great.

*Don’t make too much noise to attract people to your mission.

If you are on the truth, if you are supporting and standing up for the truth then your thoughts, words and actions will make a deep impact, a deep impression on their souls, in sha Allah and they will be drawn to the cause, the mission too, in sha Allah.

* What you are doing is not enough. You need to do more. You need to work harder and learn and grow more and more. In sha Allah.

* Obsession is bad. Instead be dedicated to Allah and His Messenger, be dedicated to the Deen of Allah.

That will do you a lot of good. In sha Allah,in the Dunya and Akhirah.

* Some day some one will love you completely,in sha Allah. For the good and the bad things.

Be patient. Learn to wait for the right person before you express yourself.

Mom proud of her children

I met the mother of one of my students who is an all-rounder,ma sha Allah. She has a 3 year old brother who is also very active and intelligent, ma sha Allah.

This is what she said :

“I am so happy and proud of both my children. Wherever they go, whoever they meet, they surprise them. Ma sha Allah, they sing nasheeds beautifully, even the little one, they can converse in Arabic, the basics now, their concepts in english studies are clear and their personalities make them stand out at home and outside, among other children. I am so happy. ”

Ma sha Allah, I rarely hear such things. She is a hard working lady, full time house wife who takes out time and leaves house work in the evening to teach them. She serves her in laws well too.

What an example to the children. So much to learn from parents, ma sha Allah.

The girl has leadership qualities, loves to lead in rhymes and nasheeds, loves to help her classmates and those younger than her.

So much potential, talents in our children, ma sha Allah. May Allah make them confident strong Muslims. Ameen.

Our children will be Dae’es

We should make an effort to instill the love for Allah and His Messenger and this beautiful Deen in the hearts of the children.

This is to ensure that they are proud of their Muslim identity, that they know they are fortunate to be blessed with Islam, with the knowledge of their Creator, to be blessed with a way of life that has solutions to all world problems.

Our tarbiyyah and upbringing should be such that these children become role models, Dae’es through their thoughts and actions to the world.

They should have the confidence to face worldly challenges with the attitude that -I have Islam, I have Allah. Allah is sufficient for me. I have the truth, the best way of life. I will live it, in sha Allah and share it with others.

May Allah Guide our youth and children. Ameen

A Muslim woman

A Muslim woman will never settle for too little in life. She has big dreams, goals and aspirations.

A Muslim woman has a purpose and a vision. She will work hard and strive to fulfill them.

The life of a woman of the world revolves around fashion, career -positions, income, fame, shopping, figure, opposite sex, revealing her body..living to have fun, party, shop, cook, bring up children, gossip and backbiting about in laws.

So many cases like that.

But the life of a woman of Akhirah revolves around striving to please her Rabb, to serve the Deen, to utilise her talents to serve the Deen and to benefit mankind for the sake of Allah, to raise generations of righteous, healthy slaves, to love and be compassionate towards one and all, to be assets and role models and raise children who will be the same, in sha Allah.

Your choice.

Decide.

Are you a woman of the world or a woman of the Akhirah?

Loyalty to Allah and His Messenger

Loyalty and allegiance to Allah and His Messenger will lead to unity in the Ummah. There will be peace and desire to seek the truth.

On the contrary, loyalty and allegiance towards a group or institution or shaykh or madhab will lead to disunity, violence and madhab fanaticism and this means the quest, the thirst for seeking the truth will be no more.

Alhamdulillah this is the lesson I learnt from IOU Fiqh 101.

Be wise. Stay focused. Seek the truth.

May Allah Guide us all. Ameen

Why do I eat food?

I eat because it will help me worship Allah and serve the Deen of Allah better.

I eat because Allah has made fruits, vegetables and other food items as a blessing so that we can be strong, so that we can appreciate and be grateful to Allah for all the favors He has bestowed upon us. Alhamdulillah.

Surah Rahman ayahs made me reflect on this.

Also being a Botany student, I can understand and appreciate the blessing even more.

May Allah make us grateful slaves of His.Ameen.

Don’t run away from people

Earlier I would run away from social gatherings, from people. Now I enjoy Alhamdulillah, I really look forward to them.

I feel if I stay among them, I can understand them, I can understand their issues, thoughts, concerns.

I want to make them aware of their good qualities, the potential they have to make a difference in the world, to live a life of purpose and to have Tawakkul in Allah during good and bad times.

I enjoy, Alhamdulillah. The reason why I love organising fund raisers or islamic competitions etc is because I want them to feel for causes, for others and work together. I want them to feel confident about being Muslim, about practising Islam.

In sha Allah, I want to be a social reformer and I want to do it through teaching, writing and public speaking. Alhamdulillah, I have dreams, goals and aspirations that are high and difficult to achieve but I have faith in Allah. I will not give up. May Allah help me to benefit mankind for the sake of Allah.

Please remember me in your duas.
